In Chinese philosophy, the Five Elements of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water are the five basic aspects of Qi, or life energy.
The 5 elements are interconnected & interdependent. The harmonious balance of the 5 elements is key components of a healthy life.

Like all forms of energy, all forms of Qi, the energy of the five elements are constantly in the process of transformation:
The energy of each element is more prominent or less prominent in seasonal and daily cycles.
